Good Genes Challenge

They're doing another Good Genes Challenge on GOS! I'm going on vacation next week, so I decided to get mine done before the weekend.



Can you guess which three Maxis characters she's bred from? (Hint: they're all women and none of them are Calientes. ETA: It's not Bella or anyone from Veronaville either.)





Does anyone have any suggestions for a name?

No Bella or Veronaville Sims in this one. (Which narrows down where she got the ears.) The third one is someone more distinctive looking who doesn't match any of the usual templates.

I lucked out and Rainelle managed to wipe out pretty much all the alien features except for the skin/eye color on the first round. The ears are not from anyone in Veronaville, though.

The eyes look like Brigit, and the face looks a bit Cassandra-like. Ears must be from Jennicor Tricou or Bottom or Titania Summerdream.

I think the red dress is throwing people off because there's no Bella in her. The nose, chin, and eye color are from the third one, but it's a Sim that I haven't done anything with elsewhere.

...Pretty sure it's Tara. The eyebrows seem right too, and the line of the cheek down to the chin.

Of course I'll feel pretty stupid now if I'm wrong. :P And confused.

Yeah looking at her bodyshop it's mainly the jaw that's distinctive. The eyes and lips are the same as face 2. But have you noticed her face doesn't age when she becomes an elder? And it looks like she passed that down to this one...

Interesting. No, I've never played Tara to elder, so I didn't know. For normal female face #2 sims, though, it's the cheeks that change the most when they age to elders, perhaps whatever modifications they made to her jaw minimizes that?

It looks exactly the same to me except for the wrinkly skintone. When I put the foundation makeup to make the skin the same, they're pretty much identical.

All the features that my Sim got from Tara don't age, while the ones she got from the other two do. The only other Sim I've had this happen with is the Cornelia Goth that I downloaded from Simgaroop. Are their cats granting them eternal youth or something?

Remi says that there's a mysterious template that looks like face 2 without the elder stage, and it appears in bodyshop when the planets are aligned properly or whatever (as a lot of stuff does) They must have been based on that. You'd think that would have made more sense with the elf template!

You know, I think I've seen that template! It seems to only appear for adult males. I never looked into it any further, I figured it was just a bug. Didn't notice the lack of an elder appearence either. This game... *shakes head* Fascinating.

Very pretty... Don't know if you're giving hints/answering questions, but I'll give it a try anyway... Did you breed with only women or both genders, and do the elf ears have anything to do with a broken face template? :)

The challenge is to start out with the hideous alien dude in the link above, and then breed out the ugly in three generations. So I bred the alien with one of them, then bred that kid with another Maxis character, and finally that kid with the final character to produce this girl.

The elf ears are not a broken template, but this woman's original hairstyle keeps them covered so they're not as obvious.

She's really cute, she has beautiful eyes! I guess she's gred from Reinelle, Jennicor and... uhm... Gvaudoin or Brandy Broke, maybe?

If I shoud choose a name for her, I'd call her Cherry: she reminds me of this sweet and red fruit, maybe for her red dress and very sweet smile! :)

I have no idea. NONE whatsoever! She's very pretty though. At first guess, I was thinking she's bred from someone in the Singles house, due to the eyes, but then again the starter character is pretty rad looking and it could be from him.

I also agree, I think everyone is guessing Bella due to the dress! ^__^
