Extracted Ideal Plantsim

I've never understood the hate for the ideal plantsim. I love his face! In fact I love him so much that I've extracted him so I can have him as a playable.



In my own canon, I don't see him as an actual plantsim, but a fairy who invented plantsims, cowplants, and other quirky Sim plants.

I don't get the hate, either. He's a perfectly nice looking sim. But then, I like a lot of the Maxis sims. :)

Yeah, IPS looks just fine to me, but you know, I like pre-made sims, so. On the flip side, some people seem to hate any sim made by EAxis on principle. >_>

I can understand him not fitting their game aesthetic, but the whole "oh he's HIDEOUS! Must replace with slightly altered face 1!" thing doesn't make any sense to me.

Yeah, I dunno, some people only have 'slightly altered face 1' sims in their entire game, so. :P

I have a multi-IPS hack, for variety, but I hardly ever spawn new plantsims so I might as well just have kept the original.

I use a default replacement, but only because I wanted a multi-IPS hack. He's quite good looking!

He has really dominant genetics that can get a bit dull if you have many, many plantspawns running around in your game.

He's still good-looking, though, I do quite like his face.

Ah, yeah, I used him to create some new fairies and his features were very dominant. A multi-ISP hack with him and Titania and Oberon would be my ideal.

I definitely love the ideal plantsim's look. I remember visiting a forum long ago that had remade all the sims with "a slightly altered face 1" and that was when I really started loving the uniqueness of the premades. Though I'm still not totally in love with the original alien pollination tech, lol. He's growing on me, slowly.

Yeah, I use Simgaroop's default with the Caliente's grandpa for my PTs. I think him and PT9 are much cuter aliens.

Oh, I like him! I've never seen him before and because all of the default replacements out there I always figured he was some kind of horrible. but this is a pleasant surprise :)

I like anything default, but where do you run into the IDEAL plantsim in the game? I thought you just play around plants a lot, and you're sim becomes a plantsim, but I didn't know there was just one running around? (Also, I can't find where this extracted sim is in bodyshop???)

When your plantsims spawn plantbabies, this guy's genetics mix with theirs so that the baby is not a complete clone of the parent. He's not a character you can run into in game, just a father of all the spawned plantbabies unless you have a default replacement. Kind of like the pollination tech aliens.

Ideal plantsim's genetics kind of mixed weird with Mortimer's genetics in my game but he made a good-looking plantkid with Lazlo! I wish I'd managed to save Roger Tory Curious before the game crashed for the umptieth time.

Oh how nice! I just got a multihack yesterday and was kinda sorry to lose his genetics. But now I'll have the original ideal plantsim as a playable in my Build A City Challenge. I really like his looks, but as stated earlier, his features a quite dominant and it get's a bit boring when you have a ton of his babies running around. Thanks for the upload!
