A/N A good chunk of this was just going to be part of the next chapter, but I decided to put it into a short interlude instead. I know there's not too much going on here but there's some necessary info that needed to be dropped before we can get to the big stuff.

I love this! I think this might be my favourite out of all the chapter/interludes. You've managed to express a lot without using any words, which is really cool. I especially liked the scenes with Bella and Jennicor.

And to be honest, I just love Rainelle to bits, so it was nice to see a bit more of her story. Really looking forward to reading more about her!

I feel a bit silly asking this, but that cauldron with the bone they're using... that's not in the game, is it? If not, would you mind telling me where I can grab it? I looks awesome!

Thank you! A lot of this was just seeing how much I could convey without any narrative. Rainelle's pretty expressive and nice to look at so I figured she could carry it on her own.

I'm kind of falling for Eldy myself. He practically writes himself and turning out to be a much stronger character than I realized.

Jennicor and Titania are very similar looking. Tity's got a pointier chin and smaller eyes, but that's about it.

Honestly, there was so much to this that words might just have taken away. Rainelle is still mysterious, but we have more idea now of what's hiding under all that...

This was so awesome! I really adore Rainelle after seeing this interlude. She truly is a sweet person and hopefully Elden will be her new sweetheart.
I love the shots of Rainelle in the cemetery. Did u build it yourself? And this is a dumb question but I was always curious as to how you were able to get that picture of John Rainelle was sleeping with. Did you use the artist camera from the game?

Rainelle is so cute! I "loved" being able to feel bad for her through these pictures (in quotes because no one really wants to feel bad for anyone, you just do a good job of getting the emotions across). But this was beautiful! I see Rainelle has an admirer. :)

I love how you decorated Rainelle's apartment. All the little cute decorations mixed with the magic paraphernalia; it surprisingly works well together. Still love the placement of that hand print
John is HAWT!

That scene with Jennicor and Bella looks like a spell gone wrong. I don't think Jennicor's hair was supposed to turn white, was it?
I also think it's interesting that Bella's face in obscured by the green hue of an Atrociously Evil witch. Hm?

LOL @ Brigit scaring poor Elden. So cute the little smile he makes when he sees Rainelle though. They are brought together by their love of Grilled Cheese.
Rainelle's little cafe is adorable. Love all the little cameos I see. Is that Gvaudoin next to Sandy Bruty? Who's the red head?

As always, your ability to tell a story with no words is awesome. I can't wait for the "big stuff"!

So, I'm just guessing 'cos of the cake, but was the potion supposed to make Jennicor immortal or similar to that? With her hair going grey it apparently backfired..or at least didn't work the way she expected it to.

All musing aside, this was a very interesting interlude! I was wondering when Rainelle would be making an appearance.

( edit : Also, and I don't know why, but whenever I see Jennicor with the violin I think of the music played in Young Frankenstein. )

Gorgeous shots, Rainelle's expressions are so great, I felt so sorry for her. I love how colourful all her outfits are compared to Jennicor's black too, and she makes a great witch.

Aww, Elden. :D They look so sweet together, after feeling sorry for her with the situation she's in, it's nice that it ended on a happy note. I love grilled cheese sims.

I love this story and the way you really bring the pre-mades to life; can't wait for more! :D

Awweh! They're so adorable together. As a person who's mixing in her sims 2 series with a lot of the sims 1/sims 2 characters now (by distant townie relations that was a total naming accident by me - I knew I'd heard Marylena Hamilton before I scripted her as Amy Hamilton's mother!) . . . this is great! I adore your game and the way you pose your sims. Rainelle is so expressive, and Elden . . . I can see where you come in saying he just writes himself. I'm sure he loves her baby just as well. Can't wait to see more, and you have an absolutely adorable show-quality singing voice.

Yay! It's so pretty. I now see Rainelle in a totally different light. She really loved John and it's heartbreaking because she was the "other woman" ... (even if there were others). Every shot is so well done, but I think my favorite is the second to last one. The way Rainelle's got her hands resting on her belly, and that outfit is just too adorable.

That was one of the outfits windows 7 put holes in but the pregnant default fixed it! I was so happy because I've wanted to put her in it from the beginning. It matches the color palette of her house!

This was beautiful. I love the way Rainelle looked with the paint all over her. She looked downright magical. Elden is growing on me as well.

But I can't help but feel bad for Brigit too. She obviously needs some help to get her life back on track.

Heh, I probably could have shown the affair another way but I had this image of her and blue paint that wouldn't go away.

Brigit does need serious help, but it'll be tough for her to let someone help her. There are a couple of characters who would show her compassion, but they're the last ones she'd open up to (and the last ones you'd expect.)

This was such a bittersweet chapter. I feel for Rainelle here. The sleeping with his picture was such a nice touch. Elden seems like such a good guy. I hope that Rainelle lets him into her heart a little bit. You could see the love in his eyes when she stepped outside of her trailer.

I also love the detail of her faithful companion. It's like she's living a dog's life.

That coupling is 10 pounds of cute in a 5 pound sack. Rainelle seems so sweet and vulnerable running her little cafe with no help. I really enjoy appearances of sims 1 characters and Elden is no exception.

I love the way Rainelle is holding the evil wand like it smells. I also get the feeling that her story arc might be a lot more noble than was implied by the original setting. Girl is researching some powerful stuff. *Runs off to resurrect her!*
